Information - Terms of Sale
The
following terms and conditions of sale constitute a binding agreement
between Digital Display Systems UK Ltd. and its customers which applies to all
purchases made on the Digital Display Systems UK ltd web site. Customers are reminded that these
terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them
carefully, you may wish to print a copy for future reference.
Contract
& Acceptance of Order
1: No orders are accepted until they are successfully processed and dispatched.
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and DDS
occurs upon the dispatch of the products ordered to you. The contract is
created by the successful completion of the following steps:
A.
You place the order on our website by going through the ordering
process on our website or by letter, phone and email.
B.
We email you an
order acknowledgement email detailing the products ordered and the billing
and delivery information you have provided. This is not an order
confirmation or order acceptance by Digital Display Systems UK ltd.
C.
We process your order and dispatch the products that make up your
order. Your receipt will be emailed upon dispatch. Order acceptance and the
completion of the contract between you and us will take place upon dispatch
of the products ordered to you unless we have notified you that we do not
accept your order or you have notified us that you wish to cancel your
order.
D.
Refusal to accept an order may be as a result of one or more of
the following reasons:

unavailability of
stock
-
the identification
of a pricing error
-
the identification
of a product description error
-
failure to obtain
authorisation for your payment
-
failure to satisfy
our security concerns as regards the billing and/or delivery address details
provided
-
your failure to
agree to any extra delivery charges where your requested delivery address is
outside of the UK mainland

General
Sales

All
goods remain the property of DDS UK Ltd until paid for in full.
A.
All purchases must be paid in full before delivery. Payments are
accepted on PayPal, most credit or debit cards via our secure server.
B.
All prices quoted are for new products and are priced in pounds
sterling. Additional charges will be incurred for delivery, dependant on
location. An invoice giving a description of the goods purchased and the
price paid including VAT will be supplied.
C.
The contract will be concluded in English. We may refuse to process
an order for any reason at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you
or any third party for our refusal to process an order. Price and
availability information is subject to change without notice. As
manufacturers reserve the right to change specifications without notice, we
must also reserve this right. All prices quoted do not include VAT.
Delivery
3. As
we do not guarantee delivery for any specific time or date, we cannot be
liable for any loss or inconvenience experienced as a result of delayed
delivery or non-delivery.
In
accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, an order can be cancelled
in writing within 7 working days of delivery if boxed with all original
packaging, unused and in perfect condition. Whereby a refund will be
provided less the costs of carriage & handling charge of 2.5%. Please
contact us for a returns address. If goods are received in any condition
other than that listed above, they will be returned to you at your expense.
If
goods are delivered in a damaged condition, or, if there is a shortage in
delivery, or, if you have received the wrong goods, you must note this on
the carrier's delivery schedule and, in addition, inform us either by phone
or email within 3 days of delivery. We regret we are unable to give timed
deliveries. All delivery dates are given in good faith but are subject to
all matters beyond the control of the Company: including acts of God,
strikes, lockouts and delay by suppliers. Delivery will normally be 3 to 5
working days from the clearance of payment subject to stock levels.
Accuracy
of Information

DDS endeavours to take great care to faithfully reproduce all descriptions
and specifications as provided by the manufacturers however, errors may
occur. If you are in any doubt we recommend you contact us by email to
discuss the product in more detail. The illustrations are representative
only. All sizes are approximate. All Items are subject to availability. All
details, specifications, prices are accurate at time of publication, but may
subsequently change. While we make every effort to ensure that the products
shown are as close as possible to the actual specification there may be
slight variations. All accessories are extra unless otherwise stated. We
reserve the right to alter specifications as advised by the manufacturers.
Guarantee
5.
All items are guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months. All goods sold comply
with all applicable legislation and consumers are reminded that these items
and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Right
of Cancellation
6. The customer has an unconditional right to cancel an order. You must
exercise the right to cancel an order by informing DDS UK ltd. in writing
within the following time limits ("Cancellation Period").
Goods - from the date the order is accepted by DDS UK Ltd. until seven days
after the Goods are delivered. Customers exercising their right to cancel an
order must ensure that reasonable care is taken of the goods and that they
are returned to DDS UK ltd. in an unused and as new condition complete in its
original packaging and with all instructions and accessories. The return
must include any premium offers or free gifts offered with the product.
Alternatively DDS UK ltd can arrange the return of the goods at the customers
expense.
DDS UK ltd will refund the purchase price of the goods or services within 30
days of receiving and checking the goods are as new and complete, less the
cost of collection and delivery to Quality Electrical Direct Ltd. where
necessary.
Pricing
7. Retail selling prices does not include value added tax at the UK standard
rate. This is not a TAX invoice.
Defective
or Faulty Products
8.
If
the goods develop a fault within 28 days of receipt please contact us by
email and we will arrange to collect the goods and provide a replacement.
Please note that if no fault is found, the goods will be returned to you and
we will have to charge you for all collection and delivery costs incurred.
If
a fault is reported after 28 days of purchase, you will need to return the
goods listing the fault. Please note that although your warranty covers both
parts and labour for 12 months it does not cover the delivery and collection
of the goods from the repairer and some service centres may charge for this.
Any return charge must be paid by you, the customer, directly to DDS UK ltd.
If
a fault is reported after 28 days of
purchase, the goods must be returned to the warehouse where they were
dispatched from and where the specialist engineers are based. Please contact
us for a returns address, as goods will not be accepted at the sales office.
We
strongly advise that you retain all original packaging in case of a return,
replacement or repair.
We also strongly advise
that when sending goods for repair, exchange or refund, you always use a
registered service that obtains a signature on delivery.
We
endeavour to respond to complaints within five working days.
By
purchasing a product you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
None
of the above affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Privacy
Policy
9. DDS UK Ltd. use the information supplied by you through the ordering page to
process and fulfil your order. We may also use it to tell you about changes
to our services, inform you of special offers and new product offerings that
we think may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive this
information from us in the future please uncheck the box on the order form.
Unless the law requires it this information will not be supplied to any
